About Me

I have lived and worked on the East Sussex Coast all of my life spending much of my free time walking and riding on the Downs and swimming in the sea off Newhaven. I graduated from Brighton Polytechnic in 1984 with a BA Hons Degree in Expressive Arts.

My work at present is focussed on the landscape and is often completed outside, using a combination of pastels and chalks; I also use photography as a means to record what I see and experience.

Among others I am inspired by the works of Eric Ravilious, Harold Mockford and Margaret Traherne.
